8 week old puppies

USDA requires that all airlines wait until puppies are at least 8 weeks old to fly.

The puppies are a little bigger and therefore physically able to handle the modest amount of time that they won't have access to food or water.

Airlines won't allow a puppy to fly if the forecast is too hot or too cold. There is quite a range of acceptable temps. An 8 week old puppy is able to handle the temperature fluctuations that may occur in flight.

If you feel strongly that you'd like the puppy to be a little older before you get the puppy, you may contact us to make arrangements.
