We have found that there is a select group of people who can do "dog life" but perhaps not the puppy phase and they know it.

So we have some "Started Dogs" to offer for families who fit this category.

Price is $5,000 each and includes 1 full day of transition time with us helping you to become fast friends with your new dog.

- Beyond just the basic obedience commands -

Potty Trained - during all seasons/weather

Crate Conditioned for all night and up to 8 hrs of the daytime

Name Recall to voice and whistle - excellent adherence

Sit and Stay (of course)

Travel Ready - Cars and Trucks, in or out of crate 

Sound/Noise Desensitized - Ready for most loud and unpredictable sounds like thunder, vacuums, horns, motors etc.

Leash Training begun - understand obstacle avoidance and problem solving tangles, slight pullers sometimes.

Socialized to familiar people and unrecognized strangers

Socialized with other pets, like our cat, chickens and goats (low prey drive impulses)

Car Aware - they understand/respect cars and not chasers

Adventure ready for hiking and biking off leash and on (not reactive to pedals or bike tires)

Understand corrections

Bath Time tolerant

Belly roll over submissive

Resource guarding conditioned to allow human retrievals (not possessive with humans)

Food motivated  - Not nippers/snatchers for handed treats

Toy motivated - Fetch is fun!

Water conditioned with lake and streams experiences

Emotional and Mental milestones achieved beyond the "puppy" phase

Not constant whiners in crates, but still "alert dogs" for unknown sounds outside
