We feel blessed to present the pups from our pairing of our Fern & Cliff.
These 7 pups were born June 9th and there were 4 girls and 3 boys.
July 21st is when they will be old enough with Maple's pups to be selected.
July 28th is when they will be 7 weeks old. They can be picked up in person after this date (07/29 or later).
Aug 4th is when they will be 8 weeks old. They can go on flights after this date (08/05 or later)
We are surprised to also share that Maple and Cliff's litter was 8 girls and 4 boys!
These pups were born June 15th. With both litters only 6 days apart in age, then we will be combining the selection process for the families on our list.
July 21st is when they will be old enough that we will begin the selection process for you to choose from all of these pups.
Aug 3rd is when they will be 7 weeks old and can be picked up in person after this date (08/04 or later)
Aug 10th is when they will be 8 weeks old. They can go on flights after this date (08/11 or later)
This is where we are currently planning these pups to go to. We can add you to the Furever Home Map too! We have openings for reservations of a couple more males and females.
Ask us about getting your transportation figured out. We may be able to drop your pup off along the way to one of these other families. We will be heading west to Utah and then back home for a break, then heading south to Florida the next week, meeting up with families along the way to get them their pups.
Update Aug 15
We have been on the road for a few days helping families get their pups. Our last tally has us at about 6k miles for this group of pups and we're not quite done yet. The only way we can part with these adorable, funny and smart pups is because we know they are going to great families. It's always fun to meet them in person see the smiles on the faces of the families when we meet them for their pups.
Update Aug 5
We have another fun play time video this week that we took as we awaited a family's arrival to get their pup. It's been really fun to meet all the families and feel reassired that we know these pups are going to be well taken care of.
Update July 28
Thanks for your patience in getting this week's video done. We have been slightly nervous about the heat and transporting pups, so we have been using any spare minute to prepare for the heat and we are now ready to roll with pups that will hardly know whether they are in the desert or the arctic. We hope you enjoy seeing the pups in this video before an unforecasted thunder storm drove us back home.
Update July 19
These pups are old enough to be selected. We are sharing 3 more videos to help you make an informed choice. There is another play time video, a girl "pick video" and a boy "pick video". We share lots of info about their personalities and give you another up close look at each one. We intentionally let the pups play until they were really tuckered out before doing the "pick videos" and you'll notice how tired some are, especially the girls, as we wake some up to do their moment in the lime light.
Update July 17
We have another fun play time video for you. These pups are old enough to go for a very short ride on our driveway to our Pavilion to play. We take them there to put them in a completely novel set of surroundings to see how they react and how quickly the acclimate to a new space. This shows us their emotional resilience and more about their personalities. It gets them away from momma for a short time to let us see how they do without her anywhere nearby. It's a great way to start to introduce them to vehicle travel and doing something a tiny bit "scary" to them to let them know they will be just fine and to learn to be brave. We plan to do another play time video in a couple of days and also the "pick video" so we can share the combined results of all our observations about them. We're really pleased with how well they are doing and hope you enjoy this video.
Update July 8
Look at them go! These pups are on the move. They are ready to take on the world around them. We will soon be helping them venture out to explore. At the moment, it's super warm out, so we can begin to enjoy some outside time in the near future. As you can see from the video, they still love their nap time after every meal and they will soon start to have enough endurance to really get play time going.
Update July 1
Happy Independance Day everyone and thank you to all who help continue to keep us safe and free! These pups are enjoying a new found freedom with their vision and hearing becoming more possible with their eyes and ears unsealing. The pups are getting more mobile and weight bearing on their legs instead of their little belly scooting process. We hope you enjoy this week's video.
Update June 23rd
We have all the pups in the same video for you today. Sadly, our audio commentary in the video didn't transfer, so you just get to enjoy puppy nap time. Fern's pups are the bigger, older pups with the dot collars and Maple's pups are the solid collar pups. You can see that they are all getting plenty of grub from their mommas and are content to sleep every chance they can. Stay tuned to the end of the video to enjoy some off leash time with us .
Update June 19th
We knew Maple was going to have plenty of pups. She's a full sized gal, and it's not hard for her to store a few pups in there and when she was looking like a pigmy goat, with such a round belly, we knew we had to be ready. Her pups started arriving about 7 pm on the 15th and the last ones made their grand entrance by about 7 am. We pretty much expect all nighters when pups start coming. It's pretty rare to have a day time delivery. Mother Nature must feel like the dark is the time to party. All the pups arrived without any drama and are doing great with nursing. Maple's milk is keeping up nicely with the demand and the pups have their own little rotation figured out so they all get their turn. We are keeping a vigilant eye on them, just in case one starts to lag behind on their growth. It's not very common for us to have an abundance of girls, so we're happy to share that if you've had a hard time finding a girl, then we'll likely have enough for you. We'll be combining the selection process, but will handle the departures to your home on a schedule that works for you. We hope you enjoy watching the weekly videos to follow them as they grow. Fern's pups are just to the phase of being chunky and cuddly. They aren't really walking, yet, but will be in no time. Their eyes and ears are still sealed, but will likely be peaking open soon.
Update June 12th
We're happy to share the birth story of these wonderful pups. We know there are about 4 signs we look for when watching for an iminent delivery and those started happening on Thursday the 8th. So we basically didn't let Fern out of our sight since we knew it was possible she might try to sneek off to her own space to have the pups. Essentially we put her leash on her and didn't let her wander far in the home. This meant sleeping on the couch with one eye open all Thursday night, since she was in the early but active stage of labor and there's no telling when the first one will arrive. Everything got rocking and rolling by 3 pm on Friday as her water broke and it wasn't long after that they started to arrive. Fern took a few breaks at various times and all the pups had arrived by about 2 am, but we weren't 100% she was done, so we continued our all night party until about 9 am when she was obviously done and she herself, finally took her first real nap. The pups all arrived without any drama to speak of and did really well getting going. We always take a very active role for their first few hours as they learn to nurse and figure out how to find momma. Fern does wonderful with keeping them close by her and making sure they are clean and warm. The pups have figured out their little rotation for nursing and are all growing very well. We're really happy with them all and hope you enjoy seeing these adorable little furballs.
