Visiting Us

We love to show off the puppies and the puppies love all the attention they can get from people.

However, momma Vizsla has not appreciated visitors in the past.  She isn't aggressive or vicious or anything like that, but we've learned that while momma is nursing her hormones change and she becomes vigilant about protecting her pups.

So we have basically made it a standard practice for us not to allow visitors until the pups are about 6 weeks old or so and are old enough to be selected by the families who have made deposits.

This also protects the pups from unnecessary extra exposure to potential outside "germs" and parasites since their immune systems aren't fully developed yet and they haven't received any of their first rounds of shots until they are about 6 weeks old.

We hope you understand.  Let us know if you have any other questions.
